A-4C Skyhawk, Navy History:
The A-4 Skyhawk is a lightweight, single-engine attack aircraft, with a design based on the experience gained in the war in Korea.
The Skyhawk is capable of carrying literally hundreds of combinations of these stores including fuel tanks, both conventional and nuclear bombs, rockets and Sidewinder missiles. Armament consists of two 20 mm cannons, one of which is mounted on each wing. The Skyhawk has remarkably low gross weight of 18311 pounds, but can provide a weapon load of 2040 pounds at a mission radius of 680 miles with two 300 - gallon external tanks; ferry unrefueled range is 2130 miles. While the full price will show in the shopping cart and on your receipt, we will only charge your card an initial deposit equal to 50% of the retail price. We will charge the remaining balance once production is complete and your model is prepared for shipping.
