The 737 Airborne Early Warning And Control (AEW&C) which was created by Boeing and uses Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems Multi-role electronically Scanned Array (MESA) radar. The radar is capable of simultaneous air and sea search, fighter control and area search.
The 737 series was considered to be one of the most popular and reliable jet aircraft and it includes capabilities such as 21st century avionics, navigation equipment and flight deck, operational ceiling of 41,000 feet, cruise speed of 530 mph, flight range exceeding 3,500 nautical miles, minimal downtime requirements and a worldwide base of suppliers, parts and support equipment for cost-effective operation.
