CG-4 Haig Glider History: The CG-4 Haig is a military glider and used extensively during World War II. It was manufactured by Weaver Aircraft Company of Ohio. WACO Aircraft Company.
The CG-4's maiden flight was on 1942. On July 1943, CG-4As went into operation during the Allied invasion of Sicily. On June 6, 1944, CG-4As participated in the American airborne landings in Normandy and in other important airborne operations in Europe and in the China-Burma-India Theater. The CG-4A is the main production variant. There were 13,903 CG-4As built by various contractors. The primary users and operators of the CG-4 are the United States Army Air Forces, Royal Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force and the United States Navy.
The CG-4A has a crew of two for a pilot and a co-pilot. It has a seating capacity of 13 troops or quarter-ton truck and 3 troops or 6 litters. The CG-4A has a maximum speed of 150 mph.

While the full price will show in the shopping cart and on your receipt, we will only charge your card an initial deposit equal to 50% of the retail price. We will charge the remaining balance once production is complete and your model is prepared for shipping.
