The Hercules C130 military transport aircraft was designed and manufactured by Lockheed which was introduced in December 1957. It first flew on August 23, 1954. It is able to use unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings. Due to its versatile airframe, a variety of roles have been assigned to the Hercules C130.
