Rain hampers recovery efforts from Airblue plane crash

Pakistani Jetliner Crash Left No Survivors
Last Wednesday, an Airblue Airbus A321 passenger jet crashed in Islamabad, Pakistan killing all 152 on board.
The plane went down in a wooded area near the Pakistani capital. Imatiaz Elahi, chairman of the Capital Development Authroity in India, said “It is a great tragedy, and I confirm it with pain that there are no survivors.”

CARGO PLANE CRASHED AT SAUDI’S RIYADH AIRPORT
Last Tuesday, a Lufthansa cargo plane crashed at the Saudi capital’s Riyadh airport leaving no major casualties according to the airline and Saudi’s civil aviation authorities.

B-26 Marauder History:
The B-26 Maruder is a medium bomber manufactured by Glenn L. Martin Company and designed by Peyton M. Magruder. It was the first produced model.
The B-26 Maruder was the first medium bomber in the Pacific theater and the Aleutian Islands. It was also used in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations. The B-26 Maruder's maiden flight was on November 25, 1940 and was introduced in 1941. The B-26, like the B-25, had been designed for medium-altitude bombing. The B-26 participated in low-level attack of German positions at Utah Beach during the Normandy Invasion. The armament of B-26 consists of tw0 .30 calibre and two .50 calibre machine guns.
The B-26 was phased out of serrvice with the Army Air Force before the end of the war. Its last flown mission was on May 1945. The primary user and operator of the B-26 was the United States Air Force. There's a total of 5,288 B-26 Maruders built. When it was determined that camouflage paint was of little or no use at medium altitudes, and there was no longer a need to make them less discernable on the ground, the camouflage paint was stripped off this B-26 Maurader, and phased out.
