The C-27J was also used by the Bulgarian Air Force, Romanian Air Force, United States Army and the United States Air Force. The United States Army has a requirement of up to 75 C-27J Spartan while the USAF has a requirement of up to 70 C-27J Spartan. Powered by two Rolls- Royce AE2100-D2A turboprop engines, it can reach a maximum speed of 374 mph. It has a wingspan of 28.7m, length of 22.7m and height of 9.64m. It has a range of 1,852km and can fly up to 9,144m. It is capable of carrying 60 troops or 46 paratroops or 36 litters with 6 medical personnel.
