F-16 Fighting Falcon Israeli History:
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, single-engined jet fighter aircraft. Though designed as a lightweight fighter, it has evolved into a successful multi-role aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven its worth in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It is the largest Western fighter program with over 4,000 aircraft built since its production in 1976.
On June 7, 1981, eight Israeli F-16s, escorted by F-15s, executed Operation Opera, their first employment in a significant air-to-ground operation. The raid severely damaged Osiraq, an Iraqi nuclear reactor under construction near Baghdad, preventing the regime of Saddam Hussein from using the reactor for the creation of nuclear weapons.
The following year, during the Lebanon War, Israeli F-16s engaged Syrian aircraft in one of the largest air battles involving jet aircraft, which began on June 9 and continued for two more days. At the end of the conflict, the Israeli Air Force credited their F-16s with 44 air-to-air kills and claim no air-to-air losses of their own.

While the full price will show in the shopping cart and on your receipt, we will only charge your card an initial deposit equal to 50% of the retail price. We will charge the remaining balance once production is complete and your model is prepared for shipping.
