Rain hampers recovery efforts from Airblue plane crash

Pakistani Jetliner Crash Left No Survivors
Last Wednesday, an Airblue Airbus A321 passenger jet crashed in Islamabad, Pakistan killing all 152 on board.
The plane went down in a wooded area near the Pakistani capital. Imatiaz Elahi, chairman of the Capital Development Authroity in India, said “It is a great tragedy, and I confirm it with pain that there are no survivors.”

CARGO PLANE CRASHED AT SAUDI’S RIYADH AIRPORT
Last Tuesday, a Lufthansa cargo plane crashed at the Saudi capital’s Riyadh airport leaving no major casualties according to the airline and Saudi’s civil aviation authorities.

X-47 Pegasus History:
The Pegasus unmanned air vehicle was initially developed under private funding by the Integrated Systems Sector of Northrop Grumman. It received its X-47A designation in June 2001. The Pegasus is equipped with an avionics suite supplied by BAE Systems Platform Solutions. The avionics and vehicle management computer performs flight control processing, mission command and control, engine control processing, autopilot control, navigation and other functions.
The Pegasus is built for carrier take-off and landings and uses a conventional wheeled take-off and landing with an arrestor hook. The retractable tricycle type landing gear consists of a single nose wheel, twin wheel main landing gear and a fully retractable arrestor hook.
